Fondly referred to by students as “the grouch,” the sod couch was constructed with a combination of compacted and molded clay soil, strategically placed wood reinforcement, and mow free sod.

The modular benches were designed to provide multiple seating options for outdoor classes. The signature “Hunt Hall yellow” bench tops can pivot to allow for different arrangements or be removed to create smaller groupings.

Students constructed plywood forms, and then mixed and poured concrete to create countertops for the outdoor grill.
